ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
Meghaa Gupta’s tryst with environmentalism began in 2013, when she was commissioned to compile a book on environmental courses and careers for students in India. From passionate teachers and students to eminent professionals, the journey exposed her to the fascinating work being done in this field. Her writing has also appeared in TerraGreen, Careers360 and The Hindu and she has contributed to WWF-India’s One Planet Academy. She is deeply interested in exploring how young people relate to the natural world and has conducted a series of workshops with school and college students in association with WWF-India. Meghaa works in children’s publishing and this is her third book.

This book seens like a perfect read to know about the different situations we as a country haa faced. Bhopal Gas tragedy, tiger conservation are famous and yet what a better way than to educate children through books.
Alao, the coverr page looks beautiful and judging by the topics cover vered, the author seems to be a great source of knowledge. I am gifting this to my teenage nephew. I am sure it will beoff immense help to gim.

During our times, we had very little books to read but now their is a vast array of books for kids to enjoy be it fun read or education, we have it all and this book too seems to be a good book for young kids.

I did not know about this book until I read this. For a vast country like ours with changing ecologies every 100kms, understanding the history is equally important. Interesting read.
