Now that we have a pandemic in place, stepping out for a facial is probably not a safe decision. Even though you know if you are visiting a posh salon that takes all the highest measures of safety and hygiene, you never know where you might get infected. In such cases, facials at home are saviors.

So what do you require for facials usually?

  • Cleanser
  • Scrub
  • Massaging gel or cream
  • Face pack
  • Astringent

Cleansing being the first and foremost step to prepare your skin for the treatment, take 2-3 drops of cleansing milk and massage onto face in an upward circular motion for 2-3 minutes. Wipe off with cotton pads.

Exfoliation with Apricot scrub

Exfoliation is the next step, where you remove dead skin cells and unclog the pores. Take a small amount of scrub, massage onto your face in a circular motion for about 3-5 minutes. Wipe off with damp cotton pads. Do not scrub harshly. Gentle circular strokes would suffice.

Massaging with gel and cream

Add two to three drops of astringent on to the cotton pad and dab it on the face to complete the facial and close the pores.
